A Coffee Grinder – Various Requirements

    Personal Customer Service
  • COMMERCIAL

Additionally, plannable maintenance, service contracts, and in suitable cases, emergency and on-site service for operationally critical technology.

    Commercial Service

From the home grinder to the commercial grinder

We work on a wide range of electric coffee grinders and use original manufacturer parts where available and intended for the specific model.

Among others, we service common home, prosumer, and commercial grinders from various manufacturers. For rare models, it's best to clarify acceptance and spare part availability beforehand based on manufacturer, model, and photos.

Depending on the grinder, we check, among other things, the grinding mechanism, burrs, adjustment mechanism, chute, bearings, motor, dosing, and electronics. Upon request, we will examine the grinder together with the espresso machine, as grind size, dosing, and machine must fit together as a setup.

Frequent Questions About Coffee Grinders

Which coffee grinders does FAM Kaffeetechnik service?

We service electric coffee grinders from many common manufacturers for private and commercial customers. For rare, very old, or special models, we check the availability of spare parts and serviceability beforehand.

Can I have my coffee grinder serviced even if there's no specific defect?

Yes. Regular cleaning and technical inspection can detect deposits, wear on burrs, adjustment mechanisms, or bearings early on and helps to maintain consistent grind quality.

Will it be repaired without my consent?

No. After the diagnosis, you will receive a cost estimate. Repairs will only commence after your approval. Should additional repair needs become apparent during the work, we will consult with you beforehand.

Can FAM also check if the grinder is compatible with the portafilter?

Yes. Grinder and portafilter directly influence each other in the espresso workflow. Therefore, upon request, we consider the entire setup during consultation, commissioning, and training.
